Finally I can bring you my driving impression of my new B9 Audi S4 Avant. How different is it to my previous B8 S4 ? How has the move from Supercharging to Turbocharging changed the driving charachteristics ? Is it really worth spending an extra £20,000 to get the RS4 ?

I got my new s4 in December 17, and what a car it is!!! I love how normal it looks from the outside, but when you put your foot down, it is immense. Love it!!

I like you had an Audi S4 from 2015, ex demo from Sheffield Audi. I loved it. I knew a guy at Audi who told my a way to take to 414BHP without affecting warranty. And it also stopped the max speed. I drove a lot in Germany and really most of Europe. One thing to note, Get a driver's mirror for the passenger side. Not expensive, but really good. Buy that in Europe as more standard. If it is raining, and you want air, side skirts are handy, especially if a smoker. Great company in Poland distributes via eBay.

I'm 60 soon and going to treat myself to an S4 Avant - I am on my second Seat Exeo ST ( Audi A4 B7 Re-Badged ) Great quality - My first went to 225k miles and my current one is on 180k. Love this review and watched your review on the new S4 with the diesel engine! If I can find a lower mileage petrol I would prefer that - budget £30K so i am sure I will find one later this year.

S4 is the 'thinking man's' RS4. £15K less to buy, it costs less to insure, double the service interval of an RS4 and yet how often could you really exploit that 1 second quicker to 60 the Rs4 gives you? (Ok maybe every set of traffic lights) but hey .... the S4 is just so easy to live with as a daily

Your RS4 review helped me buy an RS4. I drove the S4 exactly spec’d like yours. S4 is 85% of an RS4 and in some ways it’s just as fun, as your foot is flat more in the S4. Great car, enjoy!

I have a 2001 B5, 6 speed manual that I bought new (I pealed the plastic off the seats before my test drive). I also have a B8, 2014 6 speed manual transmission. The B5 is mint and timeless and the B8 is an awesome machine. I live in a ski town in the Rocky Mountains of the USA and both cars rip through the vast amounts of snow we get. Plus driving either one of these cars through the Rockies is more than enjoyable. I really enjoyed your video and please keep up the good work.
