Fascinating painting of the dividing brain with the connections of the corpus callosum. Iain McGilchrist is my favorite 21st century philosopher.

Beautiful such a gentle nugget of profound wisdom and an invitation to a positive way of living one's life.

Wow! What a powerful message. Permit yourself to experience the world and it will shape what you become. Be attentive, present in the moment. Let it in. Thank you.

Iain, everything you say is of greatest interest and significance. Thank you very much….. you are extraordinarily generous. BUT….. the background music is distracting and even irritating for this hearing-impaired listener. Is it possible to have a music free version of what you say?

Thank you, Bearsella. I just want to point out that about 2:17 I say that we are more 'present', not more 'pressed', as the subtitles have it. But thanks for thinking of doing this. Iain McGilchrist

"Be more attentive". "There aren't things for you to know -- there's a way of being for you to allow yourself to enter". This man's message complements JBP's message beautifully, and both of them are keyed into the wellspring of thought shaped in The West. Growing up, I always thought Eastern spirituality was deeper but now I see it's not true: The Western tradition goes even deeper.

What's the image of the brain full of experiences? How do I find that?
