i really don't need e trucks in ets2 and ats. I would rather see in ets2 new or even older trucks from some manufacturers and for the old trucks to be reworked.

I really don't get the electric truck hate. It's not like the diesel trucks are going away and we know SCS is working on at least 4 new diesel trucks right now. Not only that, but most of these electric trucks are based on existing diesel trucks and It's quite possible that they will come in the form of new engines/motors and cosmetic parts you can fit to the trucks already in the game.

Either way, the electric trucks are going to be an entirely new experience from anything we've had in the last 12 years of these games. It might not be much of a change to be fair, but I welcome anything that keeps these games feeling new and interesting.

Electric trucks are already in the game, my truck always becomes electric after a patch messes with my sound mods lol.

Больше интересует каким образом будет проводится зарядка аккумуляторов. Сколько нужно ждать до полного заряда. И на сколько миль хватит этого самого заряда. Это же совершенно геймплей изменится.

Yeah nobody wants Electric trucks. They still can’t even compete with turbo diesel trucks. Battery tech for ev vehicles and big rigs isn’t good. It’s still shit. And distance is still huge issue, the heavier the haul, worst the distance. Now if they did hybrid trucks, like Canadian company Edison motors. That might be interesting.

In 5+ maybe 10 years, ev big rigs might be able compete vs turbo diesel. But right now SCS shouldn’t even be thinking about ev big rigs.

I’d Rather see working on bringing older trucks to game with proper Turbo engine sound. Cus current engine sound for all SCS trucks for both ATS/ETS2 sound like crap, like recorded from lawn Motor engines for all trucks.

I think electric trucks are a stupid idea IRL and even worse in these games. Who wants to drive something with no sound....it's pathetic and scs is headed in the wrong direction with this "innovation"
