Did Obi-Wan Kenobi Just REVEAL Who Saved Grogu From Order 66? (a Star Wars Theory)

In this Star Wars explained video, we talk about the Obi-Wan Kenobi series which dropped on Disney+. In episode 3, Quinlan Vos is confirmed to have survived Order 66. Is he the one that rescued Grogu (Baby Yoda) from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant as Ahsoka hinted at in the Mandalorian Season 2? We look at several fan theories including Mount Tantiss, Palpatine, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker and others. We examine how the Kenobi show is connecting to the Mandalorian by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni as well as The Bad Batch Season 2 and Jedi Survivor, the Fallen Order sequel.

quinlan vos was such a dope character. At this point I wouldn’t surprised if it was a joint effort from various characters like grogu was hot potato

If Quinlan Vos saved Grogu, then that's a surprise to be sure but a welcome one

I do like the tidbits we've gotten about Grogu's backstory. Best to gradually reveal things instead of dropping the ball all at once.

UTINNI‼️‼️ Quinlan Vos is as good an option as any other we have heard so far.

Sometimes just the name drop is enough ☺️. Quinlan Vos... In that split second, Obi Wan's countenance began to change. The first flicker of restore hope...someone else survived.... Of course, he then went on to be terrorized by Vader-- b4 Vader even reached him. This was his wakeup call

Honestly, the first thing I thought, when Quinlan Vos was revealed as a rescuer of force sensitive children, was “ did he help Grogu at some point?” It is very likely Grogu passed through many hands before arriving on Arvala. Quinlan is a fascinating character I would love to see fleshed out in current SW.

I think the quote Obi reads has a larger, more general meaning regarding belief, and how your EYES CAN DECEIVE YOU.

So he has Luke train with the blast shield down to demonstrate belief in the Force.

This is relevant because Obi-Wan is having a crisis on Tatooine regarding his faith in the Force, and reading the quote makes him think about it.

Then you consider this exchange:
“I…don’t believe it…”
“That…is why you fail.”

I wanted to ask all Star Wars fans to please stop hating on Moses. She is doing her job and if you don’t like Reva then don’t watch the show or deal with it. She doesn’t deserve the hate.

As much as I would love to see the Quinlin Vos character saving Grogu, he was not on Coruscant during order 66 as indicated by dialogue between Yoda and Obiwan while on the Wookie home planet during Revenge of the Sith

I’ve been wanting to see Quinlan in live-action ever since The Clone Wars; this would be a dope way to bring him in!

Quinlan may even show up in Andor if he doesn't appear in Obi Wan. It seems far fetched he will be in Obi Wan but it's possible. It is just good to know he's still alive though :)

If Quinlan really saved Grogu I would absolutely love that, it might seem like a disappointment to the casual fans who just want someone recognizable, but I’m perfectly fine with Quinlan being the one that saved him, that so dope! I think Quinlan is going to have a huge rise in popularity soon because no way they mentioned him without wanting to bring him into live-action.

Okay somebody help me with this cause there's a whole bunch of things that feel connected like in this video but I can't write it out properly
1. Kashyyyk- it was shown in the bad batch trailer, yoda and quinlan were both there during order 66, gungi was show too, could he also have been there and that's why he survived? Could Yoda have sent quinlan after grogu, if he sense he was still alive?
2. Padawans/Younglings in need of saving - besides grogu, if gungi was not at kashyyyk to begin with, could quinlan turn up in the bad bad batch and help gungi and his friends from the clones wars? Perhaps the first padawans he helped?
3. JFO/Survivor - we know in the game there are alive padawans, could cal kestis come across quinlan and learn more about his powers?
This is all speculation and guessing but I feel like there is a to grogu again circle. I will most likely be wrong tho 😵‍💫

Meg, first: Thank you for the GREAT content. I totally agree with your take. I am so glad they've brought Quinlan into the fold. He and Ventress's book was my favorite Star Wars read so far, and along with Ahsoka, he's one of my favorite characters. I do not think he is directly involved in Grogu's story, though their crossing paths is not out of the question. I would love to see him make an appearance. yesterday's episode was a clear knotch up from the previous two.. I sense this ramping up will continue through episode 6. I am really excited for the remainder.. cannot wait 7 days!!!!

I love the mention of Vos, I remembered him from Clone Wars. I like the idea of Grogu being in the force sensitive colony for a time. I think Vos did not save him but that Grogu was passed to him to get him to safety.

Adding Grogu into this story would be a huge mistake IMO. You can only fit so much into a six-episode series, and shoehorning in a Grogu reveal would just be too much and take even more attention away from Kenobi and Vader's storyline. Remember: not every series HAS to have every character in it. I know it's fun to speculate, but c'mon now...

O'Shea Jackson Jr. is a part of the cast in the series in a role that has yet to be revealed. I wonder if he'll portray Quinlan Vos. Keep up the good work, Meg!
