Blade Attachment trick CHICAGO ELECTRIC 6amp Sawzall Blade

This video explains how you can attach a blade to your 6 amp Chicago electric sawzall. I believe this is going to be the same for the 7 amp that they also have. There is a safety mechanism in the release trigger to insert your sawzall blade in. this will explain how to actually get a blade in to have it locked

I did this but when I release the chuck it seems to be popping out the blade

Sorry, this did not help me with mine. I have the same brand but I had to remove two screws that look like an alan wrench to to take it apart really. it did not have the yellow clip thing. And once I pushed the thing in and shook it upside down after a few tries the broken piece just fell out. There was no ring around it to take apart.
