If its a black widow (red hourglass mark on the underside), they very rarely kill humans, but you would need to get medical treatment immediately.

LOL that's just a usual 30 mins after I wake in Australia in summer. Black windows aren't deadly but their bite is super painful (apparently)

It could be a black widow. We have them here and they are always shiny black with a red hour glass on their under side of the bulbous part. The shape is right. They can make you very sick and if you are bitten by one it is a good idea to be evaluated in the ER. But few die from the bite. They like to hide in dark places and hate being disturbed.

No, not quite (kill you). 😅 Their bite is comparable to a bee/wasp sting.
A small child _could_ die, but from an allergic reaction (again, like with bees etc.) That's how the myth came to life. Bc. it's one of the few spiders that can actually pierce human skin at all. Not thick skin though, just delicate ones.
If this here even is one! I'm not quite sure, I don't see her abdomen clearly.

Yes!! I’m in San Diego Cali & we have tons of black widow spiders we also have brown widows too!🥴😵 I hate them with a passion and yes, if you get bit by one you can get very sick.☠️

Thrifted stuff usually have spiders!! Why spray for “bugs”or use natural products to deter being in house. But all spiders do the baby thing in multiples-Charlotte’s Web 😂

could be a brown recluse, stay away, or huntsman spider, depending your area that's a big boy or big lady, could be pregnant.. Catch and release for sure.
