Measure the diameter of a tree with the app Arboreal Tree

Now you could measure the diameter, tree height, crown width, crown height, inclination of a tree in the same app.

You need an iPhone with Lidar to measure the diameter (all Pro iPhones have this sensor).

Excellent app! I am using it as crucial tool in the urban forest management of our 1500 HOA trees. I can measure at a rate of about 1 minute per tree. The data is downloaded later as a CSV spreadsheet compatible file for easily updating inventory data. Our HOA is volunteer run on a tight budget so tools like this really help.

I've had trouble getting the diameter to work reliably. It seems more difficult if I have a deeply furrowed trunk. I try different distances, heights, etc- but never see the "greeen box."
