I think old man zangetsu sealed his power bc the moe he used the more of a chance the real ywhach would kill ichigo and absorb him. However, i als have a theory that ichigo being a natural born hybrid, he would eventually awaken his own schrift. I think old man purposely didnt allow ichigo all his powers for 2 reasons. 1. Hes so powerful and with his hollow powers the only option is to kill him. 2. If he awakened his shrift, the auschwalen durng the tybw would have killed ichigo or permanently taken his schrift. Which might be so broken along wth the almighty. Also, i believe ichigo nevr awakened his zanpakuto ability, which i think is the ability to cut thru any ability. I believe his schrift allows him to shut off other schrfts which would explain why ywhach was afraid of him. Also, ichigo isnt at full power ever. His hillow is his zanpakuto. So im quite sure he has at least one ressureccion. And with that form with his bankai, its possible it dampens the almighty naturally. I dont think it ever had to do with ichigo not being strong enough. More so him not habing the time available to actually learn all his abilities. So old man thought it best to keep ichigo weak, hoping they overlook him for not being a threat.

Quincys don't have inner world, they don't have inner Yhwach running around. Inner world only exist through the Zanpakuto. You are supposed to put Zanpakuto on your lap to access the world. The Zanpakuto can drag you in, but the correct way is meditate with Zanpakuto.
