Regular Show Think Positive

On this week's episode of Regular Show, "Think Positive", Pops tells Benson to stop yelling, but Benson finds this order almost impossible to follow.

I sort of agree with both of them. Benson only shouts at them to do their work correctly, to save his job, because he doesn't want to get fired by Mr Maellard, who always blames him instead of M and R. But then again, Pops is right as people shouldn't shout all the time.

This is a tough one. Benson is right to yell at Mordecai and Rigby because they never do their job. On the other hand Pops is also right because screaming at employees promotes bad morale in the workplace.

I feel like with Benson, he does have a right to yell at Mordecai and Rigby, but there are times where he just overreacts. Like, in the episode Prank Callers, Benson got pranked by Mordecai and Rigby and he broke the house phone for that. Also, there are times where Mordecai and Rigby actually do their job and than Benson yells at them for causing damage all around the park which basically tells me that he’ll do anything to get mad at them. It’s just that I don’t like people that just get mad for things that aren’t that big of a deal.

I like how Pops is very concered about Mordecai & Rigby, I don't think he's such a bad charecter.

Benson is a very relatable character. I have been known for having problems with my anger and having meltdowns. Sometimes, I even lash out at the wrong people.

I feel like Pops misses here when he doesn’t really give Benson any real alternatives. All he says is: “You don’t have to be nice. Just don’t yell”. Okay, but Mordecai and Rigby are pretty crappy employees and as we see in the episode they don’t do anything when he doesn’t yell.

You can like, teach them how to do it the correct way, keep telling them to do it so they get used to it and need no more instructions

I can and I can’t relate to Benson. For one quarter at college, I got paired up with this one professor who taught the arts of Concept Illustration and visual storytelling, and I found it nearly impossible to learn anything from her when she was yelling at me all the time. I do NOT work well when I’m being yelled at. However, if I had two of the most destructive idiots on the planet under my employ, which I just might one day, I’d have no qualms with yelling at them if it meant completing the simplest tasks
