it is not a protest vote po sir. Yes, it is true po na we are very tired of those politicians na puro nalang po pangako. but if you go to Davao City, thats the reason why we wanted Duterte to become the new Leader of our beloved country. We want a TRUE LEADER, not a LYING POLITICIANS out there... For example po, yung central 911 po sa Davao City, imagine if he can do it in our contry, as effective as Davao City. it will create jobs po sa lahat. Isa lang po yan sa mga good examples na kayang gawin ni Duterte. Manalo or matalo man, at least i did the right thing by voting him to lead this country...

I hold the mass media responsible for the rise in popularity of BBM and Duterte. Mass media always tend to put the government, whoever may the leader be, in the bad light. This gave the impression on most of the people that nothing has changed after the Edsa people power revolution, or the situation has become even worse. People always get the impression that nobody can just get it correctly, perfectly. People tend to believe that, when you put somebody else there, things could have been a lot better - just as easy as that. This made people impatient and to clamour for somebody like a "hero" that can make the change everybody wants overnight just like magic. Now, mass media finds itself and the country in a dangerous position if Duterte and BBM win the election. And whom do they blame? - "the brainwashed generation." The question is, who brainwashed them? To this, Mass media just don't know the answer.
