UNICEF 2018 Results for Every Child - Goal Area 5

The 2018 Global Annual Results Reports take stock of UNICEF’s results at the global, regional and country levels, based on the goals and cross-cutting priorities of the UNICEF Strategic Plan, 2018–2021. The reports align the results achieved in 2018 with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and UNICEF’s proposed workplans for delivering on shared commitments to advance children’s rights and equity.

This session covers Goal Area 5: Every child has an equitable chance in life

Building on the framework provided by the Sustainable Development Goals in 2018, UNICEF continued to address inequity by: helping to reduce poverty and deprivation; tackling discrimination and exclusion; and helping countries to monitor, report on and address child poverty.
