Also, as you sim you got prisioners and it is a small XP for roguery selling them (6xp base on each prisioner) and the influence for the fight is convert to $$$ (mercenary wages).
Funny is have Cataphracts in other cultures... lmao

FYI...I did this quest with a high Charm and successfully convinced the lord to stop the rebellion and it took the "honest" trait away from my character. Had a pop up appear saying my characters name has lost the trait. Not sure how important traits are but there are other possible consequences in some cases.

they need to update this quest to be culture specific. its a bit weird that its always cataphracts. otherwise interesting quest. at first i thought this was going to be a quest to actually trigger rebels or something which would also be pretty cool

I've got this quest yesterday. Twice. In a row. On tier 2 the reward is around 4.5k for fighting 35 Fians (Battania), and I think the quest trigger is tied to the relationship to the Clan head and the clan member giving you the quest - I'm a mercenary for Battania and I married Corndog's daughter (he asked 45k for her as I failed the charm test, she said she doesn't believe I can provide for the family, I proved her wrong) and after 45 grand bribe to her father, leader of his clan, the whole clan relationship jumped to 33.

The first quest I've got from a clan member was this and was in a village belonging to Corndog which was about a 20-minute ride from the quest giver. I made my trip and went back to where everyone was sitting and then another clan member got a new quest for me - another rebellion. In the same village.

Now I have to find another clan member to check if this quest will also trigger for them, for now, I have 55 relationship with the whole clan just by buying my wife and farming Fian prisoners.

Did my quest in the desert with the Aserai. Didn't turn out too well cuz I couldn't catch them going from village to village. Never saw them once failed

You cannot do this quest if you are the ruler unfortunately, as the lord says its an "unimportant issue" which is stupid because a revolt is pretty darn important!

I got this quest as a Vassal somehow, you get a decent payout for something that isn't a long quest.

Hate this quest line. I keep trying to find the damn parties, but they always somehow never get found, even if I'm right next to the town they just got spotted at.

But mine says Penton’s revolt but Penton died in battle long before I got the quest

Im a goody 2 shoes I dont raid vilages and all lol. What i might do is kill off the compution though. They cant have big armys if they cant get fallowers lol. It realy sucks that I cant do that i cant get enugh governers or men to lead for my wars. At least mount and blades was easyer to do
