If you want more sounds on other letters (like Y, Å, Ø), check out this playlist:

Hello all! This is a video where you clearly get to see the different pronunciation of the sound of A and Æ in Norwegian. This is an old video I thought I had published, but apparently never had... :O Im sorry about that. There are examples of words where its crucial you pronounce the vowel correct to get the correct word!

Hey all Norwegian learners!
The language I'm teaching is not Bokmål nor Nynorsk. It's an east dialect and I don't think you will have much problem with bokmål after this. :) And everyone will understand this.

I am Norwegian, from Norway. Born and raised. I live in Oslo, with my husband and son.

---------------------------------------
I started filming with my webcam. Then i moved on to a Flip, then a Flip Mino HD. Then followed my iPhone, and Now I have a Panasonic HC-V210 :)
I edit with Vegas Pro.

Extra info about some of the videos is found here:

- This is also my norwegian blog. To get everything in one place!

Thank you to all subscribers, you are too sweet :) seriously, i love you!

Haha, you're so cute and funny. This was helpful, thank you! In Ireland, we pronounce our 'a's the way you pronounce the æ so that is useful for me.

I guess, old-school British English also has just the same Æ-sound. I remember it from my first English book, it was 1990 and the book could be already 20-years old back then. :-)

Thank you for the Videos, they really help me 👍
I am from Germany where Norwegian isn't taught in school, so I have to teach myself.
I am currently looking for a "tandem Partner" because I don't know anyone who speaks Norwegian, and therefore I can't really communicate in Norwegian :p
But your Videos are very helpful for me, thanks :)
