I am not going to lie. I have been Angus man my whole life. The reason why is because my family ran a cattle ranch full of Angus cattle down in South Texas for sometime from what I understand and the Japanese way of raising cattle is much more different than ours while we do care to our cattle, my understanding is that the Japanese baby their cattle. This in the world does not go again and our moral ethics or anything like that if a calf is sick then we must take care of it, however, we do not baby it as soon as it can walk it down on its own. It’s released back to its mama. Getting back to my point I eaten Angus beef my life, wagyu is a, interesting texture. I would not order it on a grill menu unless it was cooked here in Texas, which we do here in Texas, but Angus is our go to beef Angus all the way for me. Wagyu is something for offense in New York or a diamond spend in California from Los Angeles person. But for us simple country folk, and most of the greater United States minus California, it’s Angus through and through.
