These videos might seem obvious for some people, but people like myself who never cooked bok choi find them extremely useful, not all of us had parents who taught us how to cook so I really appreciate them ❤️ keep em coming 🙏🏾

I enjoy bok choy &eat it a lot.
I don't read so fast due to an eye problem. Please can the words be left a little longer on the screen?¿? Even though I can see what your dad is doing.
Thank you for your support to people like myself. 🦋

My mom taught me to soak it in salt water so the salt can help extract and push the dirt to the bottom

I like to clean them halved/quartered length wise, takes more work but when you eat in one bite, you get everything, leaf and inner heart/stem flavor, which is sweeter and almost meaty in taste. My mom cooks it the way in the video, due to easy cleaning, but I find it boring to eat outside leaves after leaves then one tasty morsel of the inner stem/heart.

I use a brush to scrub dirt out from the White part. I soak only while scrubbing. U lose vitamin C nutrient in water as Vitamin C is water soluble.

LOL, common sense. You practically do that with every leafy vegetable. NEXT.
