I first read "Atlas Shrugged" when I was fifteen. I re-read it every few years, note something new each time.
John Galt's speech in the book is about three times longer, but this is an excellent condensed version.
How did Ayn Rand know where we were headed? At this point, it's downright eerie.

I read this book every few years just to remind myself of the evil that dwells in the hearts of those who seek the power to control our thoughts and the products of our labor. I keep a single dollar bill with a gold $ charm pinned to it. I will be 69 years old come the change of the year.

AS should be done as an animated TV/Cable series. Don't squeeze it into a few movies. They can do it right and take their time with it. Make it look beautiful. Keep it true to the story. My favorite book. People tend to reference the book 1984 when discussing the current state of our country. I think Atlas Shrugged is more accurate.
