Approaching collapse, the nation's economy is quickly eroding. I watched this movie today. I cannot believe how close we are to this point. I will be buying the book and watching the other two movies. As for the hate in the comments, that's to be expected when someone is right. I don't live in a fantasy, I live in reality.

Sad that the movies did not live up to the book. I liked the first movie but it all went downhill from there. There were already a lot of telling instead of showing and then they gave up and just put a narrator in there to tell us what's happening

Heading to the opening night of AS III - looking forward to experiencing this interpretation of Rand's magnum opus with a few friends.  It's been an interesting ride with the various casts, directors, scores and such.  Ideally, this trilogy would have been filmed with the budget, cast and continuity along the lines of LOTR. A is A -- it is what it is; I will withhold judgment until the credits roll.  Cheers.

John Galt (/ɡɔːlt/; 2 May 1779 – 11 April 1839) was a Scottish novelist, entrepreneur, and political and social commentator. Galt has been called the first political novelist in the English language, [1] due to being the first novelist to deal with issues of the Industrial Revolution.

Galt was the first superintendent of the Canada Company (1826-1829). The company had been formed to populate a part of what is now Southern Ontario (then known as Upper Canada) in the first half of the 19th century; it was later called "the most important single attempt at settlement in Canadian history". It's interesting how, in my opinion, Rand's message came across so much more effectively in the movies "The Fountainhead" and "We, The Living." I fault the incompetent production crew.

This is disgusting. Saw this movie last night. It's about a bunch of rich, selfish, asshole terrorists who want everyone to live in a utopia where no one works for anything and just sit around drinking wine and being rich all day. What kind of fantasy world do these people live in where they think reality could ever be like this? Plus, the production values are horrible. Watching this was like watching a bad 90's after school special.

So they lost their cast AGAIN and they filmed with a new cast AGAIN. What were they thinking? This series hasn't made a dime, was critically derided, and just isn't any good. 

You want to talk about the Free Market? The Free Market has spoken- These are terrible films. And the Ayn Rand devotees end up heaping endless praise on them, and blame box office failure on liberal critics, like they did last time. No matter how objectively bad they are. And how objectively bad they are?

Three movies, completely new casts every time, because nobody wants to return to this franchise.
