The ULTIMATE Apocalypse Gold Trophy Guide

Today I go over 12 tips to help you easily get your apocalypse gold trophy in Phasmophobia. If you are unfamiliar with the Apocalypse Gold Trophy Challenge, you must play single player, on Sunny Meadows Fully, Get the ghost right, get all the objectives, get the ghost photo (can be any stars) and then leave and survive. This is the hardest challenge in Phasmophobia and if you can beat this you truly have a great grasp on the game mechanics. This challegne is no sanity, no evidence, 150% ghost speed, 50% player speed and no sprint. This challenge requires a lot of patience and a little bit of RNG.

I was trying to get a Deo in the main hallway. I dropped the crucifix and got immediately burned.
I stayed behind a wall and heard a thaye! Smushed the area, ghost did event, I took the photo, then it blew the candles, and I was dooone with it! Proly like 6 minutes game!

I knew something was missing, and I think switching from high to medium hunt duration is what I need. listening to the hunt for that full minute unnecessarily drains my concentration. I'll try shortening it and see if I'll have more patience left to get a picture of the ghost and to identify it.

I did this with the t2 and t3 paramic and yeah, it makes a world of difference knowing exactly where the ghost is with that tier 3. Also, yeah, this requires a LOT of patience, the ghost WILL kill you multiple times. But it's very duable. I did this three times now and it's very rewarding getting it done. Thanks for the guide. Got it after 3-4 hours of trying. My strat was pretty much just resetting until I get a ghost that was close to entrance. On succesful run, ghost was right at the front door. Objectives were crucible, photo and smudge the ghost iirc. Couldn't figure out the ghost type and felt like my best chance without taking big risks was to guess. Guessed Oni, because it was solid during ghost event and it was correct lmao

Tried this earlier in the year, took a break from Phas, and came back after months. Had Silver Apoc but not Gold. Watched this guide and got inspired, gave it another try, and got it in 3 attempts. Two Raijus back-to-back (couldn’t get the photo before dying) and a Poltergeist finally got it for me! All on the first floor near the entrance. RNG was strong.

I know this is quite something to ask for, but I would absolutely love to see a Phasmophobia marathon video where you play on your choice of settings until you get every ghost! Or perhaps even something like Phasmo bingo where you have a 5x5 bingo sheet with all 24 ghosts plus the free space in the middle and the video ends when you get a bingo! This challenge definitely tests your patience I’ve had two instances one where I accidentally knew it was a jinn by ruling out other ghosts and right after got back to the truck and started loading into the lobby I marked out the last ghost and when I did it took my guess away from jinn and another time I hit a deo and two of the objectives done on the first hunt just needed a picture for the 3rd objective and I went back in and got mimic’d

Great guide! Honestly the only thing I'd add is maybe reset EMF objective until you get the truly free ones (smudge, pic, hunt, etc). I just coached a friend on their gold trophy and we would've been done in under 20 minutes but unfortunately the ghost just did not want to EMF. And we had to get closer and closer to the room for it to finally go off (we even tried firelights, putting books next to it during hunts, etc.) And it took over an hour overall. It's just a hassle and unnecessary danger if your ghost is a douche and won't activate it.

Also a couple other things I thought I'd mention:
1. If you want to do this as painlessly as possible but you don't want to roll for deo, don't bring in tons of gear at the start. Just pop a crucifix and listen for the sound. If it's not close or if it's not easily recognizeable, save yourself the trouble, especially if you're newer and just restart. The general rule of thumb I've found is that if you can't hear it from the lobby with the paramic, it's likely not close to chapel or in either of the two main hallways. Then walk further and listen from the main corridor/chapel area, if you still can't hear it, restart. Once I know it's close & it's at least somewhat recognizeable, that's when I'd bring all of the stuff in.
2. The piano *is* pretty much one of the best places to take a picture, but it's not 100% safety, more like 95%. I've had the ghost roam towards the wall and notice me a few times. If you think he might walk a bit too close, smudge to be safe. This, however, is EXTREMELY rare from what I've seen and you'll be good for the most part.

2 years ago I almost did this challenge. Had the Myling correct, all objectives but ran out of photos and I was so mad I haven't tried since. Watching this makes me wanna go it another go! I really want that gold xD

I finally did it - it took me 112 attempts (most of them were retries because of objectives but still lmao). I gained over 20 Levels (or even more) just from knowing the ghost but failing to take the pic / not getting all obj - i even had a deo and was still low level so my last candle ran out (i couldnt light it again) but i had everything else - wanted to give up there but the 7k motivated me xD. Huge thank you to this great guide! Im super super thankful and it helped me a ton. In the end I got a moroi and was lucky to randomly bug behind a sofa where I was unkillable :D still huge thank you

Came here to say, this video really helped! The hunt duration tip was mvp for getting this achievement. Also having a stopwatch. In my game, it was a polter in the hallway outside the chapel. Great spawn. It also had a tendency to always hunt and run downstairs. Paramic helped to hear it’s ability, and I had easy objectives. Firelight, which was insta-completed because it ran into the chapel on its first hunt, survive a hunt, smudge the area. The tip about smudge, camera, smudge got me the ghost pic. My entire investigation was done next to the entrance. Lol. I smudged by the bell, took pictures of ghost, smudged again, hide behind the first archway by entrance. Ghost saw I wasn’t there anymore and turned around, ran into a room, came back, and the hunt ended just before the ghost got me. After the ghost photo I had to survive for 10 seconds, got so lucky it decided to turn around first! What a run! Love the poltergeists.

I just did my first run on Gold apocalypse and I’ve never touched silver or bronze and that’s my 3rd time playing sunny meadows. I just got it in my first attempt with your setup! Booooming Oni saved me hours.

Thanks to your tips I managed to get it on the second try, tysm. I can't stress how much Patience made it possible with obviously having a little luck. I was hiding a little far a way to get EMF and Motion sensor first but the Ghost somehow found me. Luckily it was a Spirit since I had to use a Smudge. After trying to get the ghost photo at the end of the hunt it ran far away but right after the hunt it evented on me so I could firstly get the Photo but also smudge it which buyed me enough time to get out.
