Just bought this kit. I didn't even know it existed but thanks to your video I now do! :) I really like the weathering job you did on him. I think the silver chipping in the orange areas were a nice touch. Thank you for the suggestion about skipping the extra lights. If I do light him, Hobby Lobby has a light set that is battery operated with 10 or 12 LEDs and maybe I'll light the lights in the ball area too. The local hobby shop was out of that Tamiya black panel line paint so I think I'll try using Tamiya black and water it down and see if that works. I use pastels for weathering and I bought a set of those makeup type brushes you used as they will hold up better than the Q tips I usually use. You did a really nice job on him!

Spin master also made a 1/2 scale R/C BB-8... It has Voice commands, A remote control, Lights, AND it charges up via cables... No batteries!

Sorry for my beginner questions. Is it Weather Master set B that you are using or D? It seems D in the video, but in the comments you said it was D. Or are you using both? And which color(s) in the set did you use? Also, and this may seem like a really stupid question, but after you weather it with the panel accent line paint, you use a cloth to wipe the surface. Is this a wet cloth or a dry cloth? Or do you put a product on it? Besides the panel accent paint, the silver paint, the weather master paint and the lighter fluid, what were the other products that you used and what did you use them for? I couldn't always see it clearly in the video. Like I said, I'm a complete beginner, but your video inspired me to give it a try. Awesome video! Thank you for answering my questions!
