It makes me think if elsa and annas parents knew of rapunzels powers or the kingdom kept it hidden just like arendelle did. Because if they knew of rapunzels powers then i think they would ask corona for help regarding their daughters powers too and perhaps corona was the one that suggested they should travel.

Edit: i just realized rapunzel going missing might have a connection to why elsa was also hidden. The coronas town folks knew the flower existed and they know it has the power of healing. They mustve knew that it can be transferred (because how could gothel know?) Maybe rapunzel getting kidnapped because of her powers spread and made it into arendelle. The hint i got that elsa was already hidden is that none of the town folks of arendelle knew elsa has powers. Hinting they hid her since the beginning of the movie.

My theory is that Rapunzel happened before/after Anna and Elsa's parents died. It happened in the same universe its just that since they were also royalty, they were invited to the neighbourhood coronation. I just thought maybe it could make sense because from the look of it, Rapunzel already married to Eugene.

I read a book about mother Gothel’s backstory. The flower came from a drop of sunlight but the name of the flower is actually a Rapunzel in the book. Gothel names Rapunzel after the flower because her own mother names her sisters after flowers and it reminded Gothel of them.

I think all princess are cousins or relatives and all of them have connection to elements like-Moana has connection to water 🌊🌊, Pocahontas has connection to wind 🌬️ etc
