How to Connect Your Bluetooth Headset to Your Windows 8 Laptop or Desktop

Hi, to get your Bluetooth get connected which is showing offline after pairing on WINDOWS 8.
1. go to control panel
2. open view devices and printers
3. double click your Bluetooth device and you should get the pop up window which is Bluetooth properties.
4. go to services tab which is the 3rd one and wait for the FOLLOWING SERVICES TO LOAD IN THE BLANK BOX. such as Audio sink, Handsfree Telephony, Remote control and Serial port SPP .. COM3
5. You would find only Serial Port
CHECK all unchecked box, click apply and ok.
If you are wearing your Headphone already, you would find the connecting chime.... ENJOY

Oh wow so many have had the same problem I see, me too! I was going nuts! lol. First of all thanks for posting this vid, good job. I was searching on how to connect LG  HBS-750 to my HP laptop running Windows 8.1. While they worked w/ my Android and perfectly everywhere I could never pair them w/ laptop!  I got it to work! Here's what I did. I followed the same simple path as this guy, when my laptop was searching I made sure I turned Bluetooth to my phone OFF. I then just held down what I believe is the call button for about 4 sec until it beeped. It said ready to pair and instantly came up on my laptop screen. I selected paired and tested it. Hooray! I hope this helps some people. Bottom line is the directions are no good from the Bluetooth!! argh! but no longer have to care. lol.

I chose bluetooth instead of devices and paired the two and it worked :)

I got that part. I successfully paired my Bluetooth headset to my computer but the problem is that whenever I want to connect it to my pc. It just wont. Bluetooth is working on my pc and headset is on. What I have to do to reconnect it is that I have to remove the device and then pair it again.
Any fix for that?

I have tried everything and even looked everywhere all over YouTube, spent an hour trying to get it done. The directions to my speaker where all in Spanish. And I have done everything that everyone advised to do even the owners of the device. The only thing that got my device to work is what you said to do.

I have found Bluetooth Settings! (at first I didn't have it). First do this, go to device manager and go to the "Bluetooth" section and right click the driver and click "Enable" then your drive will be ON! Now right click again and see if there are any updates. Mine had none. Now you should have bluetooth settings. So now go to the windows menu and type in "Bluetooth settings" or mine popped up as "change bluetooth settings" so I clicked that. Then a box came up to change things so I clicked on the check box to "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC" and I checked "Alert me when a new Bluetooth wants to connect" so I can get notified and check the last one as well "Show Bluetooth icon in the notification area" so I can easily access this. Then hit Apply and Ok. Now turn on your bluetooth headset or device, and go on your Bluetooth settings page and you device will show. Click "Pair" and it will load and you're all connected!
