Bronco Base VS Badlands Offroad Comparison!

We took the 2021 Bronco Base model off-roading! Before we add a lift, wheels, and tires, we wanted to see just how capable it is. We chose a medium level trail and quickly learned that having a lift would have made all the difference. The Bronco continued to get high centered until Colton got up enough speed to make it up the hill. The street tires did not allow for much traction at all which did not help in getting up steep inclines. After giving up on the hills, we tried to get the Bronco stuck in multiple mud puddles. While that didn't work, we eventually found a steep drop-off and used the Yankum Recovery Ropes to pull the Base out with the Badlands. Overall, we were very impressed with the Base model and are excited to take it off-roading again after TCcustoms works their magic!

you can force some of that tire spin to the tire with grip by applying about 50% brake pedal while gassing it.

Very solid video that highlights the capability differences between the Base and the Badlands. This is a great, realistic video that shows people what a custom 4x4 Bronco can do compared with what a lot of people-who will never take their Bronco in the mud (intentionally)-will get for their money. Great job guys!

Your frequent content and the free Bronco swag are the only things getting me through this wait for my Bronco. Excited to see what the Base can do with a lift and better wheels, but I love all the features that come with my Wildtrak Lux package

When using a soft shackle make sure you put the knot in the middle of the span and not at the connection points to save it from being pulled apart from the tie down or strap/ winch line.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. That base Bronco is really cool. You are the only ones that are testing out and showing the base model, that I am aware of. Keep up the great work! 😀👍

I had thought of getting the ford bronco badlands with a hard top and sasquatch package. Would like it as a daily driver but for hunting and campting. Would the bronco badlands be good for hunting?

Thanks for the opportunity to win and the awesome coverage for the Bronco.

Honestly, I think the Black Diamond would be the perfect trim level for what I’d want to do. I just want a mid tier trail rig to take on mountain bike camping trips! And with the name Black Diamond (like the bike trail classification) it just makes perfect sense!

It sucks that 6 months later people still haven't subscribed to the channel..

You don’t have to drive in the ruts. I would drive off to one side of the ruts with those tires. Looked fun tho👍

In my humble opinion the tires on the base model are fine BUT a set of slightly taller Toyo Open Country AT III and a leveling kit would work wonders, Tires are the first and most important thing to change if the rig comes with summer tires. And those AT III's would be the hot setup for a snow event. Thank You TC

I am a crane operator and use hard shackles every day. Backing off the pin in the shackle one turn isn't really the best way. What will happen is you will end up stretching the shackle "mouth" out every time you put a bit of side pull on it (which when off roading is every time). Eventually the pin won't go in all the way. Instead use some lube on the threads of the pin and tighten it finger tight. On the off chance it gets stuck, give it a tap with anything (another shackle is what I usually use because it's handy). Your shackles will last a lot longer.

Thank you for giving me the off-road mud review I've been wanting! All the other reviews are of rock crawling. I'm in the South I play in the mud. Thank you
