Python AMS - Ultimate Bambu Lab AMS - Showcase Video

This is a quick showcase video of a X1C using three spools of PETG printing a multi coloured Benchy and the forth spool as external spool holder for a P1P printing another Benchy. So it's two printers using just one AMS. Of course with the setup shown here, the X1C is limited to using three spools at this time.

Python AMS is a highly reliable and fully modular AMS system for the Bambu Lab X1/P1 series. It can be used with two to 16 spool slots, daisy chaining AMS units is possible, just like stock AMS.

The sections are joined with dovetail joints and M3 socket heads. It has a built in wall mount and the spool holders are tilted back so it can just as easily be installed on a wall.

What is the max diameter of the spools we can use with pyhton ams? Does a Extrudr PLA NX-2 with outerdiameter of 220mm work?

Thinking about building a python with an enclosure, though my table space is limited and about 90-100mm of the enclosure would hang off the edge (my space is basically exactly enough for a stock AMS), do you think this would cause any issues?

so i want to do a dual ams set up on 2 printers. so if i need to do 4 and 4 or 7 and 1 with out changing the tubes all the time, is this possible?

How are you using 1 ams to print on 2 printers? Is this something everyone can do without changing firmware or anything crazy? I just ordered the full kit with panels but now I want to know if I should get another p1s

Is this meant to entirely replace the Bambu AMS original unit? Or is this more along the lines of an upgrade kit for the stock AMS unit?
