It has been a question of debate, Nike Alphafly Next% 2 VS Nike Alphafly Next%, of which of these two super shoes should you wear at your next marathon. I talk about the changes and specs of the Alphafly 2 over 400 miles of use. The upper of the ZoomX Alphafly 2 is probably the worst part of the shoe, IMO. The midsole rides pretty well, but can lead to some problems down the line. The outsole of the Nike air zoom Alphafly Next Percent 2 is the best part of this shoe, IMO.

Could have gone into wear and tear a little more in-depth. How is the midsole after 400 miles? Does it still have any life in it? How did the outsole hold up? Close of of wear would have been great? Are you going to take it furry or Retiring it?

Bro, it’s been so long. You probably don’t remember me. I was a big follower when you first started. I had you on IG before I deleted all social media. I think I still have your #. My name is Jonathan and I had been running for FBI test, had moved from California to Florida. You helped me in my running.

omg the outsole durability looks insanely good compared to upper. Big contradiction to most other shoes.

Totally different experience here, however, 90% usage was a treadmill incline 1%, still looks like a brand new after 500 miles, bought 1 number+ than im wearing regular walking shoes, not one blister ever, next time buy bigger shoes, only thing i can feel now being different than new pair is they r not being "bouncy" as they used to be

The lateral cant leads to shun splints for many runners.

Looks like you got a lemon. All shoes wear different. Buy another pair and see what happens

Is energy return still peaking at 80-109 miles or beginning to fade ? Thanks

Personally, I don’t like the alphafly 2’s. It doesn’t feel as snappy and responsive, and is just heavy compared to the first version. For a “super shoe” it doesn’t feel extremely super. While yes, it is very stable compared to the first version, it doesn’t help to make up for the lack of a snappy response. It’s just mellow compared to the old version. New version is not as bouncy, and just feels more like a rocking chair, rather than an actual shoe.

For the price. This upper sucks. Hard to get into and kills your toes that’s Nike though we pay though the nose. And Nike laughs then this shoe can cause more problems with your toes and hips. Time to form a class action!!! I ended up with a messed up hip! 😢
