Do you need to define the port variable in the app startup file? I understand that you would need to define it when running a server locally, but how does it work here? Does hosting service not assign a port value dynamically?

for me every time i made an edit to the app.js code i had to restart the server again, how it is not the same as you?

en mi caso particular no cuento con ese icono que tienes en software que dice "Setup Node JS" y no se como agregarlo. tengo dias detenido en esto. ya tengo el archivo clonado y puedo verlo en la carpete repositories. pero de alli no avanzo. mi VPS esta en hostgator.
