I still discover new grammar aspects in my own language… plus, languages evolve even from decade to decade.

This white dude in 1975 definitely predicted this new particle called 草

That person does know that Japanese linguistics exists, right? Multiple reference grammars exist for a well-studied language like Japanese, often based on different grammatical theories and frameworks, and while the linguists who write them obviously try to be as comprehensive as possible, they can neither include every single little detail nor future developments in the language. Documenting, describing, and explaining language usage is literally a never-ending task. It's one of the reasons why language is so fascinating and fun.

Bro, 1975 was 40 years ago. If language was so easy to distill and understand, there wouldn't be literal scholarly courses to help people understand things like "AAVE"

To be fair, it's sometimes easier to explain a language that isn't your first one. Language acquisition later in life happens differently so that you learn it in a way that you can then more easily explain it.

I have no idea how to explain several grammar structures of my native language to people who don't already speak it. But I can probably explain almost all English and a fair bit of Japanese grammar.

In that same sense, non-native writing about Japanese grammar might actually do much better at it than natives, provided they actually know the language well.

But the OP is also really dumb.

Ah yes. The Gora have become so advanced that they can see into the future of the orientals and their societies. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Because everyone knows that no language has changed or evolved in the last 50 years. 🙄

I'm surprised that he predicted the spoken contraction of すみません into すいません!

I'm curious about the source of the outlandish claim.
