Undertale Undyne the Undying Battle: A Battle Against a True Hero

Easily one of the best fights in the game.

despite howm much Undyne hates you and wants you dead, she gives you a spear to defend yourself. wow.

I have felt like a bad guy often in a game. Randomly driving over people in GTA, trying to shoot NPC's in a fps, picking the evil choices in a telltale game. But I never truly felt like a villain before playing the Undertale Genocide route.

She melts because she over flows with determination this was said at the true laboratory notes, where one melts if they have to much determination

Just noticed how her first arrow attack starts off looking like the exact same thing as the nuetral route's first attack which teaches you the arrow mechanic...then suddenly tons of speedy arrows come in from all other directions, telling you there's absolutely no tutorial here.

I know this is obvious, but I love the fact that it’s called “battle against a true hero” because frisk is supposed to be the hero of the story, but in this scenario, that’s not true, but Undyne, knowing the situation, decides to fight and stop the real monster, making her the true hero

I love how before that boss I was playing Touhou, and I switched game then I came to 4:41 and I was like "did I switch games?"

That would just hurt as you could manipulate Alphys to actually help you.

I'm having a crisis, i don't know what i want to be when i grow up, my main option is to be an indie game devolper, so watching this fight fills me with determination and somehow it inspires me to follow my dreams! I'm crying because of my future, but this battle "shows" me that i can be myself, that i want to be what i want, that i can be happy if i want, that's why i love this fight, it helps me to clear up my mind and to easily choose a decition...i think i want to be an indie dev, learning about indie games makes me truly happy, so yeah, i might go for it
