US releases video of Russian SU-27 fighter jet colliding with its MQ-9 drone

The United States’ Department of Defence has released the footage of a Russian fighter jet hitting a US drone over the Black Sea in international air space. The footage captured by the drone shows the Russian Su-27 fighter jet first dumping fuel on the MQ-9 drone and then bumping into it. The drone crashed following the collision. The event is being seen by some as a sign that the Ukraine-Russia war could see a dangerous escalation.

If the jet bumped the drone at that speed, the drone will take significant damage.
It looks like the damage was caused by the mass of the fuel being dropped and not the collision of the two aircrafts.
One of the propeller blades damage can be seen at the end, the other blade is slightly bend.

From the video its clear that the jet didn't collide at all. It spilled oil and then flew away. A 40ton jet colliding with a drone ud've violently thrown it back.
