Samsung Galaxy Note 9 - 6.4 in screen, 201 grams, Gorilla Glass 5, aluminum frame

Apple iPhone X - 5.8 in screen, 174 grams, stainless steel frame

How is it that a phone that stopped working wins in this test? How is it that it gets a 10 in rounds 1 and 2 despite being damaged in both, especially when the damage in round 1 destroys the phone's water resistance?

Though the Iphone may have won in the durability test, it lost its functionality only after five continuous drops as well as in the speed test.
All things considered, I'll take the Note please.

I wish people would watch a bunch of these drop tests so they can see that neither is definitively more durable than the other. It all depends on the exact circumstances of the drop. Being at the same height and falling on the same surface are only 2 of dozens of variables. I’ve seen iPhone X’s dropped from 10 feet on corners and face first with no significant damage and no cracking and I’ve seen others dropped in identical circumstances that shatter from 5-6’
