Putin is following this lead with foreign mercinaries and troops from Syria and Chechnya who will be more likely to employ more abusive tactics against Ukrainians.

Humans are disgusting, as a Combat Medic who served in war, I remember being disgusted at my species after seeing what we do to each other, mutilating other humans and creatures since it all began. I hope this is the last time I have to come to Earth...I think I learned all I needed to learn here, and conducted myself where I can be proud and my relatives who are passed on will be proud of how I treated others on this blue ball floating in space, I can die with my head held high, with no fear from my maker. Morale is the key.
The Ukrainians are defending their homes, families and homeland.
Many Russian soldiers have no idea, or are confused about their military assignment- and then find themselves abandoned without adequate food or fuel, and many have Ukranian relatives. Russian soldiers are understandably deserting....
and those uppity Ukrainians are beefing up their morale by Ukranian farmers absconding with abandoned Russian military vehicles & tanks by tractor-pulling them & delivering them to Ukraine military, and Ukranian mom's putting a display of 109 baby carriages in a city square to show the world how many babies who were killed by Russian bombing in that city will never grow up to play in that square.
Morale, everyone. If you know what you are fighting for, and it is crucial to you. And if your leader is completely with you- and not hiding in a bunker/palace/ offshore yacht. 😤
