I can smell the ginger! Love it...time for ginger tea!

I keep ginger root in the freezer. It keeps much longer this way. I grate it frozen to make hot ginger tea and hot ginger latte with honey. Frozen ginger is fairly easy to grate using a coarse cheese grater and grating it frozen seems to make less mess. I also don't peel the ginger before grating it nor strain the pulp from the tea after. I drink the pulp with the tea like people drink orange juice w/pulp. It's all good. Add your favorite local honey and enjoy!

I never used a peeler. I think it will leave me more ginger once peeled. I always cut off all the skin. Ginger is so wonderful. Thanks!
