Clan Campbell's Gathering

Clan Campbell's Gathering is a simply constructed tune, with each variation being made up of just two phrases of music, and three lines of music, which are played in a pattern of:

1, 1, 2
1, 2, 2
1, 2

Tunes like this are known as "primary" piobaireachd.

I don't know a whole lot about the story behind the name of this tune, so if you have any facts about the tune, please let me know in the comments!

A note, I've been experimenting with different ways of expressing the third variation of this tune. In this particular recording I am playing it in 4/4, with two pulses on the first note, one pulse on the second note, and the next two notes sharing one pulse.
