Whennever I activate Siri it does not let me talk if I go to voice memos it said not audio device found or audio failed when I click record if can’t call record on Snapchat or anything that requires microphone even my airpods don’t let my phone record audio

If anybody has this issue try this. If you can talk to Siri and record anything on voice memos but when talking to someone on the phone it starts to make weird noises, there is a small issue. Try to off phone noise cancellation(accessed through settings then general and accessibility)then restart your phone. Your mic should work. My son has an iPhone 7 and he had the same issue. He followed these steps and his mic is working now when talking too through a call.

I can’t record voice messages or call people because they can’t hear me. What should I do ?

People can’t hear me on a call, and I can’t hear them. If I play videos, I can hear n whatever, but hey Siri doesn’t work. And if I press the home button, Siri still doesn’t work. I tried testing my voice memos, but all that pops up is “Recording Failed, no audio devices found”. And when I call people, it won’t let me turn on speaker.

My iPhone 5 SE requires me to have my headphones plugged in in order for callers or people I call to hear me... more than a little frustrating, especially when its your old mother calling and wanting to see and listen to the whole family... one at a time please. I'll give the air duster a try but the General menu on this phone is not the same as I saw on the phone you were using as a demo. Any specific ideas on this for my phone please? I also have this problem and then I went to apple store the staff said that I didn’t tear out my sticker behind my iPhone when I just bought it lol (there’s a rlly small mic between your rear camera and your flash ._.) sry for the broken english...hope my comment is useful...
