Hankook DynaPro XT Tire Test Day 1

The latest off road tire from Hankook, the DynaPro XT RC10 features large, aggressive tread block with a rubber compound on the soft side for a hybrid-style tire. We tested at our Trails 411 proving grounds using our Jeep Wrangler on the Hankook XT 37x12.50R17. Our test trails include Forest service roads 2N02, 2n71Y, 2n61Y and 2N01. Tow of these trails are clack diamond-rated. While the steep, rocky and loose dirt climbs and descents created a challenge, as did the rock crawling sections, the Hankook XTs showed very little wheel spin at all. Lockers were never needed. So far we really like these tires. Stay tuned for more tests in Big Bear and at Cougar Buttes.
