While most people obsess about perfect bottomless shots, I find espresso flowing from spouts on La Marzocco portafilter a thing of true beauty.
I find that with my current temperature setting this particular coffee tastes really nice with the following recipe:
Dose: 18 grams
Brew time: ~26 seconds
Brew weight: ~40 grams
Temperature : 93 °C
Brew pressure : 9 bar
About the coffee :
Roast: Light-Medium
Origin: Laos
Region: Bolavens Plateau
Farm: Phetlamka Estate
Varietal: Gesha
Growing altitude: 1350 Meters
Process: Natural
Flavour profile: Very sweet with strawberry like acidity and a really nice creamy body!
