This is how I prepare my espresso puck to pull shots without any channeling. Having a bottomless/ naked portafilter allows me to observe any flaws in the preparation.

Wow. I love this, this is my dream machine setup. Unfortunately I had to settle for the breville oracle touch...but will love this setup in future.

Did you adjust the pressure on your linea when you got it? When its all heated up what pressure are you reading? Thanks and nice shot!

have you tried using only the distribution tool but not using the tamper? I currently use the distribution tool only, I wonder if added a tamper will make a difference

Hi, I just got my linear mini with specialista. I found the beans must be finer compared to the previous EXPOBAR machine to get the same amount of extraction time 25s or so. And the latte tastes a bit milder with the same amount of milk. Do you think it’s due to the grinder ?

Have you mod the restrictor to 0.6 in order to lower the water flow?

Is there any way to control the rate of preinfusion on this machine? LMLM looks like a great machine but seems lacking in some crucial features.

You pair your $6000 coffee machine with a $600 grinder. Though for milk coffees it does not really matter anyways.

I also use a toothpick for the same reason :-)

This is one ugly machine, it looks like a frog with those knobs.
