When I was a kid I remember so vividly having an experience that has stuck with me to this day that I remember I was at school and felt sick and wanted to go home. I felt trapped at school because it was the morning and i had the whole day of school ahead of me. I remember closing my eyes and focusing on what i would feel like and see while i was leaving school and then i was there actually leaving school and i didnt remember the rest of the day from that moment in the morning all i remembered was thinking about leaving after the school day was over and then i was there. Def a weird experience lol

He's using time, a temporal dimension (meaning a dimension that can only go forwards), and turning it into a spatial dimension (where you can go back and forth) as an analogue of 4D in 3D+T (t for time).

The 4th dimension doesnt have to be timeproof, it could be from 4 dimensions, but neither of them is time, 4th one could be another dimension thats equal to length

I couldn’t imagine what life would be like for 4th dimensional creatures that could go forwards or backwards in time. It’s like they would all have their own little universe
Seeing eachother at different times changing the time lines over and over again

The way I think about it… we see in the 3rd dimension. If we look at a square, we can see every side of it, inside and out. A 3D square is a cube, right? So if we could see in the 4th Dimension, that would hypothetically mean we would see all faces of the box inside and out all at the same time. Since we’ve never seen in the 4th dimension, we can’t even fathom this. Still it’s a cool thought experiment

The only way I can think of making a cell secure by the 4th dimension is getting a boulder where the initial cell would be, then build the cell around it. Afterwards, you would dig below the boulder or lower it with a piston. And to retire the cell you would do it in the opposite way.
