The most impossible thing about this scene is how Ethan was bouncing a completely irregular stone and catching it

I love the big tattooed guy. Dude walks out and intimidates Ethan a bit, but doesn't beat up a random guy he doesn't know for no reason. Then, when the guards start flooding in, he steps up to take them on without hesitation.

Casting Simon Pegg was a stroke of genius.
He clicked with me the moment he went out in the morning to get some groceries, totally oblivious of a zombie pandemic around him.

This is the best Russian accent by an American actor I've ever heard. The way he said "сейчас" (now) and "пойдем" (let's go) were almost perfect.

What impressed me is Tom going over the rail, switching his grip while unweighted, then dropping easily to the floor below.

This is my favorite MI film, and in fact one of my top 10 films of the 2010s. Such a perfectly done action film. In this scene, my favorite part is when Ethan realizes he has to get Bogdan and silently holds an argument with Benji to get back in. Also, I give them props for this song choice.

As a Russian speaker, I appreciate that they actually used real Russian. Hollywood normally shortcuts this, or hires horrible actors with fake Slavic accents...

That guy at 3:21 throws one of the most realistic punches I've ever seen. It really looks like he's *trying* to hit Tom Cruise.

That Russian dude at the end sliding down the rope at the end was Mr Grbic (probably spelled it wrong) - he was one of my acting teachers in film school. Great actor and an awesome teacher. He gave everyone an A whether you showed up or not, said the letter grade didn't mean anything, but he'd work tirelessly and passionately for the students who came prepared and wanted to work hard and truly improve.

Incredibly well shot. The scene at 1:01 although brief and uneventful in a movie all about action, conveys so much coolness of Ethan, the way he's just chilling as hell quite literally breaks loose and the rest of the members are scrambling to make stuff happen.

This was the start of the Mission Impossible Films being really good. 4, 5, and 6 are perfect films

I gotta say, whoever instructed them on russian (probably that only person on the background who actually had no accent) made a very good job. And I don't understand how they managed to get like 15 actors to sound almost perfect while in other movies it's awkward gibberish. A 2011 se-se-sequel managed to do it better than Avengers nowdays.
