Less than 24-hours after a South Carolina jury convicted him of murdering his wife and 22-year old son, former attorney Alex Murdaugh learned his fate: On Friday, a judge in South Carolina sentenced Murdaugh to life in prison without parole.

Through more than 75 witnesses and nearly 800 pieces of evidence, jurors heard about betrayed friends and clients, Murdaugh’s failed attempt to stage his own death in an insurance fraud scheme, a fatal boat crash in which his son was implicated, the housekeeper who died in a fall in the Murdaugh home, the grisly scene of the killings and Bubba, the chicken-snatching dog.

The jury deliberated for less than three hours before finding Murdaugh guilty of two counts of murder at the end of a six-week trial.

His credibility had been stripped away? He stripped away his own credibility by his actions.

Unbelievable. Guy who had everything threw his life away. Wonder what prison he will do his time in? Is there a fancy prison for the rich in South Carolina? I bet he commits suicide.

Thank you for dumping that biased, bitter Rachel Gilmore. Worst mistake you guys ever made was trying to get Canadians to like her. Canada is grateful today.

I would rather die, then serve life in prison. JUSTICE served? No... can't bring them back. Injustice act can never receive justice.
