grinded forever for 60 cloth to not get a single lesser magic essence when disenchanting the gear. this is heavily RNG based, not consistent.

Skinning and making Embossed Leather Vests is way better on Hardcore where leather is raining from the sky at primetime. You can get your greater magic wand in about 3 hours in Dun Morogh in prime time. Just pick up Skinning and Herbalism, sell your herbs, use your scraps to level leatherworking to about 35, then get to 40 with armor kits. You can drop Herbalism for enchanting at about 12 stacks of scraps, . Drop Skinning for Leatherworking, and if you find out you didn't quite make it to 70, there is like ZERO reason not to drop leatherworking to pick up skinning again, because scraps will take you right back up to where you need to be.

Oh, yeah... one more thing: don't die any time soon, or you're going to feel pretty dumb.

the undead by the farm and tailoring trainer have better drop rates than humans in tirisfal

the drop rate for undead is dogshit just go to the keep in durotar.
seriously like barely 1 stack per level in trisfal vs 3-4 stacks in a a level in durotar

So gnomes and dwarves are the unlucky ones since "their" mobs are higher level. 8-9 or even 10. That means that at hardcore you are not good before 10. Too bad. I tested it with undead and from lvl 6 I got all the cloth from the undead near the tailor trainer just out of Brill.

yeah right, so how're you gonna get the SILVER to pay for those professions!! I recommend that you get skinning asap, that way you can vendor the stuff for cash flow

You will never get your wand on lvl 5
I spend around 1.5hrs to farm 60 linen cloth in elven forest which alows me to get from lvl 5 to lvl 8
Also, after DE i haven't received 2 magic essence
Just do quests and around lvl 10-12 you will receive 60 cloth. Dont spend time so early
