Gave this a legitimate shot today. Started at 8am. Drank a total of 4L of warm/hot salt water (2tsp per L and Himalayan pink salt). Did the asanas thoroughly. This took me until almost 4pm and my stool while watery was still brown. Fixed kitchadi (100g white basmati and 35g yellow moong dal + some turmeric and 4 tbsp ghee). Rested (whilst making the meal) for 45 min. Ate food (difficult to stomach). Finished by 5:30p. I can’t eat 6 hrs later because I need to sleep at 11:30p. So many questions. This was extremely difficult and I’ve yet to see any benefit. Trying to trust you and your knowledge of Ayurveda, but this seems like maybe Vata types like myself should just avoid this “cleanse”. Any insight would be great. I’m feeling tired, weak, and dehydrated right now. As I understand it I can’t yet drink normal water until 2 hrs after my first kitchadi meal or I risk absorbing the salt water if still present. This whole process was counter to the idea of listening to my body. I wanted to quit doing it and drink fresh room temperature water throughout the entire process. Trying to stay hopeful, but so far this is just aggravating my vata and depriving me of hydration.

Results : 7/7/2024 i have started this kriya at around 9am and ended at 12:52 pm,
I alreafy went 2 times washroom before starting this kriya. during my first set i went washroom for 1 time and i observed that my i m gettting foggy yellow which was not that much liquid but as soon as i continued to do the kiya my exerction was getting liquid, in each set i went to bathroom becaus i felt i need to go. During my lat set, my exerection was totally liquid yellow colour, i though that i am suffering from dysentry but later felt that my metabolism was distubed cuze of kriya and removing all toxins from my gut, i was feeling really light in my body during last set.... During this kriya i went 8 to 9 times for exerection. I just finished my kriya and writing this comment. Thank you mam for such wonderful and helpful video. really means alot to me❤️

Did this in early years of my employment. Works wonders.
Caution. It is better to practise the asnas for a month BEFORE this Kriya, so that body becomes flexible enough.

Water should be slightly warm or luke warm.
Do it on a holiday. It is strenuous.

Hansaji has offered very insightful & necessary Kriya. But this may not be possible for many at the first time. She has also suggested not to push your body hard acommplish any Yogasanas. thanks for upload.

I practice yoga everyday. I reside in Scotland currently.
With breath work alone I have achieved internal heating to combat extreme weather.
