A great sword? Regenyei Armory Spadone no. 3 review

Listen. I know it's not a messer, but doing flowdrills with a greatsword is well, eh... great. Also, Landsknechts used them under the name Schlachtschwert, so I guess I can get away with it? In any case, have a quick review of the Regenyei spadone no. 3 and find out if it's suitable for more than just Italian sources. ;)

It looks gorgeous! But when it comes to costs, you forgot to mention all the things you're likely to break in your house by accident when you inevitably get excited showing it off.

I had the chance to use one of these and fell in love with it instantly. Finally managed to get myself one. It is on order so it will probably take a while till i get it.
Mine will have a devided grip, wrapped in plain brown leather, pear shaped pommel and the crossguard and pommel will be blackened.
I have no real idea how it will turn out, but i hope it will look as great as i imagine it to be. :)
Thanks for making this video and helping the community to get some insight in this rather "niche" style of fencing.

Fantastic review. Having started aiming a bit higher and doing some looking, come to the conclusion this would be a good starter instead of something that could potentially be taller than me.

That's a nice looking sword. Do you know anything about the quality of Regenyei's Flamberge Zweihander? I was interested in it, but I don't know much about Regenyei.

Is it safe enough for -controlled- sparring? I'm thinking about getting one of Regenyei's two handed steel trainers but those look quite unappealing compared to the Montante & Spadone models.
