Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I’m your host Paul and this video we’re breaking down Graviks Plan in Secret Invasion. Episode 2 has just dropped and it reveals a lot of key clues about what’s going on with the Skrulls.

Throughout this video we’re gonna be breaking down all the hints and also talking about what’s really going on with their secret invasion.

So before discussing exactly what’s going on we have to look at the comics and why Earth was their target.

Part of the Skrulls religion prophecised that their home would be destroyed, which exists in many myths and legends. Christians believe in the book of revelations and The Asgardians believe in Ragnarok and so on and so forth.

Gravik is a cool and scary villain. Ben-Adir is nailing it. Love this show so far and This is one of the better MCU DisneyPlus shows. Can't wait for the rest.

I feel like this show is the best MCU D+ show thus far. Its a night and day difference with having show runners who are fans of spy thrillers vs a legal show when the creators admit they don’t know any thing about lawyers.

i know it’s probably not an inside joke reference to it…but when Fury was talking to Rhodes about how he remembered when he use to protect the planet and i laughed so hard because when he said that it reminded me of when Don Cheadle played Captain Planet 😂

So the 4 are kinda like the F4. Groot allows them to stretch/grow like Reed. Extremist allows them to burn like Human Torch, Cull Obsidian would make them kinda durable and stronger like Thing. The only thing off is the Frost Beast

If Gravik becomes the main Super Skrull, i HOPE that they dont kill him off! Kingsley Ben-Adir has been killing it as Gravik and his character just *feels* dangerous. He feels like someone that you just dont mess with and want to stay on their good side, factor in that he used to work with SHIELD, and you get a very interesting character.

Maybe they could have a team of Skrulls that were successful in the Super Skrull Initiative, but he was the only one that escaped with his life. Or maybe he could have been one of the only few Skrulls that survived the process, with Gi'ah being the other to counter Gravik.

Either way, i hope that he doesnt die, as per the usual routine with Marvel villains. Gravik could be potentially one of the most interesting characters going forward, with Brave New World, Secret Invasion and the Fantastic Four films being released.

I heard a cool theory that the specimens on the computer the G'iah was looking at were references to the Fantastic Four.

Groot is stretchy Reed Richards. Cull Obsidian is big and scaley like Ben Grimm. Extremis is firey like the Johnny Storm. And the Ice Beast is like Sue Storm when you tell her to calm down.

7:52 Paul said as a theory that Nick fury might be convinced that he's a skrull. The simplest way to know someone is not a skrull is to injure them like episode 2. So I don't think Nick is a skrull.

Great vid! But what do they mean by checking the "Harvest"!? They've been to a few but all were empty and Gravik seems to be the one who is finding these "Harvests"

I had that same thought after the episode, that they will probably reveal Gravik was “nick’s son” for those years after that speech in the beginning of the episode, and that’s why he has this hate for fury.
