This is what the MCU needs, the tone is serious and consistent throughout every trailer

I love when Marvel leans onto these serious matter, the gritty action sequences, the politics within the MCU. That's why for me Winter Soldier and Civil War were so different than the rest. And hopefully Fury doesn't die.

Just to give you a plot summary:
Decades ago Nick Fury promised to help Skrulls find a new home in exchange for their service, but after realizing he can never find a home for them, he stays quiet and kept using them as lapdogs. After the Blip, Nick Fury just abandoned them and hide in space, only came back after a young Skrull started a rebellion. After getting 2 of his best friends killed because he sucks at his job, someone else took out the rebellion leader for him, but the whole event started an all out race war towards the Skrulls. However, instead of trying to fix that or stop it, Nick Fury once again abandon everyone and hide back to his space with his wife, leaving all Skrulls on Earth to fend for themselves

This series was clearly written by children in crayon, who had no interest in either the film or comic cannon. Disney Marvel continues to destroy its franchise characters and itself.

like so many others are saying, this is what Marvel has been lacking recently. the tone reminds me so much of Winter Soldier, which is one of my favorite Marvel movies. can’t wait for this.

If this is as serious of a show as it's marketed as, I think we're in for a great time. I hope the MCU going forward can bring us more serious projects such as this. We've seen Star Wars do it with Andor and that was awesome. I'm not giving up on the MCU just yet, this show gives me hope.
