20 - 30yrs let go without notice. This story is the perfect example of why you do not owe these places loyalty in giving notice when you are ready to leave

No matter how long you’re at a job, it’s just that a job. People better wake up

And these jobs want you to give a 2 week notice...you owe them no loyalty, these jobs ain't loyal.

This was a move to not have to pay those who were eligible for retirement in my eyes.

This happened to me with another company.

These jobs don't give a damn about you!!! Stop being loyal to these companies, giving 10-15 years of your life and they flip the script on you.

Take the time off, use the PTO, use the sick time, use the benefits ...stop thinking these jobs are loyal to you. They aren't.

People saying they'd never heard of a company closing without notice are people living under a rock!!! In my life, I've seen this happen dozens of times all over the western USA. THIS IS COMMON!!!

This why, you pay yourself first. Always have an emergency plan, no one is exempt from layoffs.

I don't drink Pepsi. But I sure do empathize for the workers. Corporations are never held accountable for the bullshit they do.

My father always told me to never give your life to an employer because if you leave on Friday, your replacement is there on Monday. There’s always a contingency plan on you

If people can take time out to cancel a celebrity because of something they said they need to do the same to Pepsi.

This is exactly why I don't do 2 weeks notices anymore. These employers are so full of 💩.

I worked for Coca Cola for 17 and a half years. My first plant manager told me, “This is a job, not your life.” But he was the exception, not the All others wanted us to work like the job was our life!!! I left on my own and don’t have any regrets!!!

I live in Atlanta and i work at the Stonecrest location. Wow!! I thought that it only happened at our location. Smh. I was there 2yrs and 8 months 4 months shy of getting a pension. I received a small severance like the Cincinnati location. I just thank God i have enough money saved to take care of my family during this tough time. Praying for all my old co-workers we need it.

You have to remember these companies are publicly traded, meaning they owe their loyalty to investors not employees

Yesterday, I watched a similar video about the Sumitomo tire company abruptly shutting down without giving their employees notice and now this....twice in one week. This is terrible

Always remember this, no matter how important you feel you are to the company, if you die your job will be on the internet, before your obituary
