Tutorial video on typing a Water Knot or also known as a Tape Knot, Ring Bend, Grass Knot, and Overhand Follow-Through. This knot is used to connect two pieces of webbing together normally, but can also be used on rope too.

A figure 8 knot, (overhand with a twist) and you've got the strongest climbing knot known to man. Thanks for the post!

Well a "stopper knot" would give a grab point on the end of a rope, if feed through a hole it'll have a spot to stop so it won't pull through, also adds weight if you want to throw the end of the rope to someone or somewhere, and it also prevents the end of the rope fraying any further if you haven't done anything with the individual fibers such as taping the end or melting it.

is this knot better than a Double fisherman knot or a Double sheet bend, when it comes to joining 2 ropes ?
