You make such a great point about the Asian diaspora befriending other Asian friends be it East Asian, South East Asian, South Asian, Pacific Asian etc. and we often celebrate the similarities and differences of all of our cultures. I feel like media just lumps our cultures together. I'd love to see a group of friends having those kinds of casual conversations.

I'm half Asian (quarter east asian) and half white. So I guess it's interesting seeing this from a one step in one step out perspective is interesting. Don't get me wrong I've dealt with racism from all sides of that but I'm at least able to just be me? IDK my friend groups have always been suprisingly diverse without trying or anything. Guess us outsiders/turbo nerds just sorta drift together naturally
