I understand that she loves her husband unconditionally but that doesn’t mean she should have to stay with him romantically after he turns into a “her”. As a straight woman, this could be very damaging to her. It’s denying who you really are just to let someone else be who they are, and while it’s incredibly selfless, I hope she realizes that her happiness is important too.

I can’t imagine staying with someone who you have known to be your husband and is now your wife. Jennifer is straight. That’s gotta be unimaginably hard and painful. I couldn’t do it.

It's too painful for her. I would not stay with him, but I would leave and have my children and be happy. She may find love in the future. There is no need for her to suffer daily.

Its selfish of this "man" to have married and had children when he "knew" all his life that he was transgender . Its sad to put this lady(his wife) and those beautiful children through this . Life is difficult enough with a parent adding to it .

This is a joke. My heart goes out to those kids and his wife.... He said there was never a time he didn't feel this way. He's been this way ALL his life yet he still chose to get married and have kids and live a lie. This is hiding a secret but in the worst way possible

I think what's messed up is that He knew ever since he was young that he was transgendered but decided to ignore it and involve innocent people in his mess of a life. Poor kids and I feel horrible for his wife... He's being selfish. FU Larry!

So funny how she compares her marriage with the WORST of her friend's marriages, ie, the alcoholics, drug addicted, distant husbands. We only tend to do that (look for the worst) when we need to feel good about our own situation. She knows this is a terrible situation. Her heart is so broken. No situation or person is too broken for God to repair. But one must ask, believe and use common sense.

WTF... WHAT KIND OF NONSENSE IS THIS....Lauren says he wants to be a woman, so is Lauren a lesbian as well, and Lauren is frustrated with learning about makeup and hair. Lauren sounds confused. And their both sitting there with blue dresses on. This is some bull, how is a man going to be a woman without suffering every month from a period. I would have backed my bags and left.

Selfish man married to a selfless woman. He knew all along that he was a woman so why build a life with someone and then destroy it? Because its all about him that's why. He mentioned that their kids thought there was a problem in the marriage but he says there wasn't. WTF there is and was a BIG problem! He has lied to this woman for 25 years and then drops a bomb that she had no clue would ever come. This poor woman is struggling I feel so bad for her and the kids.

I used to know this couple... our daughters danced ballet together about 10 years ago. I always saw the dad with the daughter, dropping her off at class, picking her up, putting her coat or ballet slippers on... he seemed to take more of the role as "mom". I figured he was just a very involved dad. Now I'm watching this and I'm blown away. I wish the wife the best of luck in her relationship and raising their children together. I personally wouldn't be able to handle that. I give her credit.
