That's one law I am vehemently against. Gun Free Zones are death zones and better laws regarding these ought to be considered.

Requiring a permit means it’s a privilege. The constitution says it’s a right. Huge difference.

I could just listen to Emily talk all day. She speaks so well and she’s so beautiful. An absolute treasure!

"Ignorance of the law is not an excuse"
Ok, so tell me why all these law makers are ignorant of the fact that THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED"?

I applaud all those in the TX gov't who rolled the ball and signed off on constitutional carry/permitless carry. It shows a direction, shows what they were thinking. For many folks it will open up carrying on most days for many situations. State executions, open gov't meetings, hanging out in bars or going to a hospital or nursing home aren't usually daily situations. Having said that, TX is a 'shall issue' state. Takes one Saturday or maybe two evenings and about a hundred bucks total to go through the classroom and firing line exercises. Can't remember the cost of fingerprinting, but maybe will set you back a Jackson. It's totally worth it, if even just to exercise the Mia Culpa's now and again (sometimes those 30-aught and red signs are hard to see). It makes traffic stops (the most likely scenario) go a bit easier when you can hand the LEO a driver's license AND an LTC card (former LEO here). In short-- get the LTC. Get 'carry insurance' too. Good video.

Regardless of constitutional carry. I’m highly in support for LTC holders.

Concealed means no one can see it unless I have to show it and once again if we have to reach that stage... gladly take my chances and explain

Every morning I drive right past an elementary school and through a school zone while otherwise lawfully carrying a holstered handgun in my glove box. Not yet an LTC holder. Where would that fall if I were stopped?

This is a big problem I have when it comes to all these different laws (state vs federal) why does it have to be so complicated? Just make one set of rules and we’re good! It’s not that complicated..

How about a little breakdown of nuances of Tennessee concealed carry permit vs. Enhanced concealed carry permit?

I eat out regularly and have found only one place that was marked "51" even though alcohol is served. It's the percentage of sales of alcohol that drives that sign. I had thought that sign was supposed to be posted at the main and other entrances. Hmmm...

If someone owns a house within 1000 ft of a school how do Federal laws impact them? Could they carry say a long-gun from their house to their legally... say said car is parked in the street? How about on their driveway?
