How to install Windows VST and CLAP plugins on Linux

preview_player
Показать описание
yabridgectl add *PATH_FOR_VSTS_OR_CLAP_PLUGINS*
-- adds the folder to be scanned by yabridge
yabridgectl sync
-- syncs the added folders and scans for the current vsts
yabridgectl status
-- shows the vsts found and converted to work with linux.
then add the folder (typically under /home/*USERNAME*/.vst or .clap or .vst3) to your DAW's VST plugin locations.

Leave any questions. Will be mindful in the future of blocking the terminal!

I would love a full video of installing several different vsts from beginning to the end as I’m new to Linux and clueless how to get this to all work effectively. Thanks for the vid though!

This is how to scare people away from even trying to make audio on Linux. You take for granted that we're all Davy in Linux when the opposite is the fact.
If you had the time and wanted to boost your channel. You'd make a series starting from scratch, explaining everything, whine etc etc.. What distro to get and when what a distro is.. But thanks for the video..
